Low Dose Enzyme Activated Immunotherapy

Get Help from Our Integrative Medical Center in Scottsdale

Many illnesses have been related to hypersensitivity to various compounds such as those from animals, vegetables, and minerals. These illnesses include "allergies" commonly called seasonal because they tend to show up in the spring and the fall, when trees, flowers and weeds send out their pollens - symptoms like runny nose, plugged up head, sometimes cough or even asthma.

At the Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine, our Scottsdale integrative medical center, we have used provocation-neutralization immunotherapy for many years. It is an excellent way to both test and treat illnesses when dealing with specific substances to which a patient is allergic and has been found to be much more accurate and safer than standard immunotherapy "allergy shots".*

What Can Low Dose Enzyme Activated Immunotherapy Treat?

Low dose enzyme activated immunotherapy is a safe way to treat illnesses for people who are sensitive to everything.* With infrequent injections occurring every 2 months initially and then periodically less frequently, there is no need for sensitivity testing. While symptoms may temporarily worsen, after the third injection they are usually gone.

Low dose enzyme activated immunotherapy treatment is given for:

  • Foods
  • Inhalant allergies (spring and fall pollens)
  • Molds
  • Chemicals
  • Chronic Lyme disease symptoms

A very hypoallergenic diet is required for three days surrounding the treatment in order to prepare the intestinal tract. Very few things like acetaminophen, fish oils, and high doses of Vitamin C can block the effectiveness of the treatment, so we urge our patients to carefully follow the guidelines we give them in order to ensure the best possible results.
