Ivermectin for COVID-19 – quackery or therapy?

Ivermectin for COVID-19 – quackery or therapy? It is rare to read something that looks at multiple sides of a question as politically and emotionally fraught as pre-hospital treatment for COVID. Still more rare to come to the end of such an article feeling as though there might be some hope for (a) resolution of the question and (b) reason to try the therapy anyway, without all the emotional baggage of being “for” or “against”.
