Homeopathic Medicine Under Fire... Again

We must be doing something right in the world of healing medicine, if the pharmaceutical world is so determined to "prove" through emotional language that homeopathy is invalid. The lowest form of evidence in "science based" medicine is expert opinion. So if we accept the FTC as the experts on drugs, then their organizational opinion, as I said, provides the lowest form of evidence about homeopathy. There are indeed plenty of articles in the literature about the benefits of homeopathy. And there is a wealthy of experience. And, as this article by Dana Ullman points out, there is history accurately portrayed, and then "history" conveniently misportrayed. If there is not accuracy in what can be demonstrated, then how much credence should we give to that which is "expert opinion"? Each of us will have to make that determination for him or herself.
