Lyme disease is a bacterial infection commonly transmitted from ticks. Previously, Lyme disease was thought to be only prevalent in the North, East and
Mid-West regions but new evidence has shown that Lyme disease can be spread
by mosquitos, or be sexually transmitted from one partner to another.
While ticks are generally found in wooded or grassy areas, they can travel
great distances on mice, squirrels, birds, deer and skunks.
If you feel you or your family member may have Lyme disease or could be
at risk, find out more information at our workshop. This informational
workshop is free however, seating is limited please RSVP to Lisa Platt
at your earliest convenience to guarantee your spot.
