An Autism Media Channel Film, directed by Andrew Wakefield & Produced by Del Bigtree.
This film had been pulled from the Tribeca Festival in New York at the end of March. The Tribeca Film Festival was started in 2001 by Robert De Niro, who has an autistic son. The film was pulled, for the stated reason that they had “concerns with certain things in this film that we feel prevent us from presenting it in the Festival program” – exactly what things were not specified.
I saw this film on 04-25-16 at the Harkins Valley Art Theater in Tempe, AZ.
I was impressed by the presentation of the evidence. The tone was matter-of-fact, without any of the emotionally charged adjectives we have become accustomed to hearing from the medical establishment.
I quote from a recent (04-20-16) e-mail communication from the Executive Director of the Arizona Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics about the “damaging and false messages contained within this film”:
In attempt to limit the exposure of this film and the amount of people who view it, which is our ultimate goal, Harkins and AzAAP are in agreement that full censorship and banning films only drives media attention and increases the number of people who seek out the film. The film will be available via online streaming in a few weeks, and we don’t want publicity of it being pulled from theatres to have the unwanted adverse effect of increased viewership in people’s homes.
I am not quite clear on exactly which part of the film is “damaging and false”. Well, maybe damaging to the integrity of the Centers for Disease Control. But false? That remains to be demonstrated.
One version of the story about Dr. William W Thompson, PhD, epidemiologist and whistle-blower, who expressed deep regret about his role in helping the Centers for Disease Control to exclude data from a study on vaccines and autism, can be read on the Alliance for Natural Health website. The published paper from which data was apparently excluded can be read here in abstract form. The full text version is available only to subscribers, or for a 2-day access price of $25.00.
The film does state that Dr. Thompson was unaware that his telephone conversations with Dr. Hooker were being recorded. Dr. Thompson has, very sensibly, engaged the services of a “whistle-blower” legal firm. His statement can be read here.
The released data speak for themselves – the incidence of autism in those Africa-American children who received the MMR early is significantly higher than in the general population of the same age group. The incidence of autism in those children of all racial heritages who received the MMR vaccine early is higher than in the population of those who received the vaccine after the age of three.
When a request was made for production of individual vaccines, so that they might be given spaced out, rather than all at the same time, the response was “That would impact our vaccine program adversely.” No statement of whether it might impact children who have not yet been vaccinated.
It is projected that by the year 2030, if the incidence of autism continues to rise as it has been for the past several years, one in every two male children will be diagnosed autistic.
The film call to action includes the following:
1 – That Congress subpoena Dr. William Thompson and investigate the CDC fraud.
2 – That Congress repeal the 1986 National Childhood Vaccine injury Act and hold manufacturers liable for injury caused by their vaccines.
3 – That the single measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine be made available immediately.
4 – That all vaccines be classified as pharmaceutical drugs and tested accordingly.
Interviews with pharmaceutical insiders, doctors, politicians, and parents of vaccine-injured children are included. The inescapable conclusion is that there has been an apparent deception on the part of the CDC, with destruction of some data. This data, if included in the original study, would lead to the conclusion that the MMR vaccine, administered early may have contributed to the skyrocketing increase of autism, potentially the most catastrophic epidemic of our lifetime.
